Do you have questions or concerns about student accommodation issues? Join us to discuss them. In addition, we'll continue the discussion from Part 1, including: Are you struggling to integrate academic accommodation into your classroom curriculum? Are you aware of the recent changes at the Access Centre? Know what to do when a student needs accommodation, but is not yet registered with the Access Centre? Did you know that the Access Centre can save you valuable course management time? Marc Emond, Manager of The Access Centre will discuss the important topic of classroom accommodation. Bronwyn Dickson, FCAD Counsellor will also be available to answer questions about academic accommodation for students who are struggling with mental health concerns, and who are not yet registered with the Access Centre. The Access Centre helps students with disabilities make their academic experience accessible. There are 1,600 students registered with the Access Centre; approximately 70 per cent have an have an invisible disability, such as a mental health concern or a learning disability.
