Breakfast with Dr. Chris Evans – Vice Provost, Academic: LTEF Preparation

Dr. Chris Evans, Vice-Provost Academic, invites all Ryerson faculty to join him for breakfast and outline the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Fund (LTEF), an internal grant administered by the Learning and Teaching Office (LTO). The LTO provides grants to fund new strategies reflecting Ryerson's ongoing commitment to excellence in classroom teaching, our diverse student population and transforming the traditional “chalk and talk” lecture model. The LTEF supports and promotes effective student engagement in the classroom/lab/studio, and scholarly research centered around university teaching. Dr. Evans will summarize the guidelines to apply for LTEF funding, and past LTEF recipients will be available to discuss strategies that have been successful in previous years.
