Jowita Bydlowska

Jowita Bydlowska was born in Warsaw, Poland and came to Canada as a teenager. Her first book, Drunk Mom, was an international bestseller, a memoir about motherhood and addiction. Her novel Guy, a critically acclaimed national bestseller, told a dark-romance story from a point of view of a man, a creative challenge Jowita was happy to take on. Her most exciting work up to date, a novel called Possessed comes out in October and it’s a story about tragic love, longing, and the triumph of self-realization, set in the current world and early 19th-century Europe. As a journalist, Jowita mostly writes about relationships, mental health and the arts and has published in a number of publications across the world.
