Additional Leaves
You may also be entitled to additional leaves under your collective agreement or the Employment Standards Act; some of which are unpaid by the university and may or may not be subject to employment insurance (EI) payments, depending on your individual circumstances. These leaves include:
- compassionate leave
- family leave
- partner leave
- bereavement leave
- jury duty leave
- political leave
- union leave
- critical illness leave
- domestic or sexual violence leave
- extended pregnancy leave
- family medical leave
