Rob Graham

Government Appointee - February 14, 2020 to February 13, 2023

Rob Graham (he, him) was appointed to Toronto Metropolitan's Board of Governors for a three-year term as a Lieutenant Governor-in-Council appointee on February 14, 2020.  

Rob is an experienced board director including service on two university boards in Ontario. He has served in numerous fiduciary-leadership roles including as board chair and as chairs of governance and quality assurance. His community involvement and not-for-profit board experience have been in the areas of homelessness, conservation and mental health and in nonprofit governance renewal.

Rob's professional specialties are in governance, finance and real estate. Training includes an MBA in finance, an ICD.D governance designation and six certifications in governance in addition to executive education in public-private infrastructure and in nonprofit fund raising. He is a real estate broker of record, licensed in Ontario. In the spirit of continuous learning, Rob is studying public leadership and public policy at Harvard University’s Kennedy School through which he is part of a global network of public policy practitioners and leaders.

He is currently leading the development of a new specialized 100-unit supportive housing campus in Toronto for chronically homeless clients and serves as chair of the Good Shepherd Centre in Toronto, a multi-service homeless shelter. His career has been in FP&A in the airline industry and mass transit. He now works in real estate investment. Passions include fly-in-solo wilderness camping and scuba diving.
