Immersive Language Programs

Expand your language skills while experiencing all that Toronto has to offer

Our Immersive Language Programs are short-term options for groups of students looking for specialized English language teachings that are both theoretical and practical. Our curriculum is based on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), empowering students to find creative solutions for economic, social and environmental challenges through collaborative project-based learning.

Suitable for ages 13+

Suitable for groups including but not limited to current international students seeking to engage in enhancing their English language skills in a meaningful thematic context based on social justice.

Program Outcomes

  • Refine and enhance your core linguistic skills including academic reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
  • Develop your critical and analytical skills through the application of language skills to authentic and semi-authentic resources based on SDGs themes.
  • Expand your understanding of relevant SDGs themes by reflecting on events, policies and strategies in real-world contexts, people, and communities situated locally and globally.

Experiential Learning and Socio-Cultural Experiences

Participate in trips, activities, quality conversation sessions and workshops relevant to the academic curriculum to enhance your experience and engagement through reflective practices.

Sample activities:

  • Toronto Cultural Experiences (Niagara Falls Trip*, CN Tower, St. Lawrence Market, Toronto Zoo)
  • Personal Development Workshops (Understanding Your Leadership Style, Conflict Management, Mindful Communication)
  • Evening Social Programs (Conversation Cafes, Games Night, Karaoke) 

*Niagara Falls trip only available for the 10 and 14 days immersion program

10 days | $2,690 CAD per student

14 days | $3,675 CAD per student

  • Summer: July 7 to July 20

We require a minimum of 18 students to enrol. Cost includes tuition, accommodations, meals, extracurricular activities, airport pick up and drop off.
