Course: CLD 363 Field Education III

Gain experience at an advanced level by working with children who may have identified disabilities. You will be directly involved in assessing the abilities of children with exceptionalities, and planning and implementing activities that are developmentally appropriate.

Put into practice what you have learned in the classroom on adapting programs that build on a child's strengths and are responsive to their learning needs. At the same time, you will continue focusing on building supportive relationships with families, colleagues and community members. Your placement options include:

  • early primary classrooms

Your third-year field education placement will take place during the winter or spring term.
