Title: Exploring the Recipe for Survival: Hospitality Businesses During the COVID Pandemic


Description: During the COVID 19 Pandemic, government actions affected the restaurant industry’s ability to survive. This research compares how government actions in South Carolina, USA & Ontario, and Canada affected restaurants’ ability to survive the pandemic.


Bio: Dr. Julie Kellershohn is an Assistant Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management in the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Her research interests include topics related to consumer behaviour, food and beverage purchasing and consumption behaviour and alcoholic beverage marketing. Prior to joining the Ted Rogers School of Management, Julie spent nearly 20 years conducting research in private industry working with a wide range of Food and Beverage Companies.
