When something in life doesn’t go the way you plan, what do you do? How do you react to the change? How do you feel?

Resilience is the ability to recover and respond to change—to “bounce back” and move on through life as well as before.

There are many ways to build your resilience while at TMU. You could:

  1. Work with a SHARP Ambassador and learn resiliency strategies.
  2. Explore the ThriveTMU Workbook and complete weekly exercises.
  3. Find more resources related to resilience and personal concerns provided by the Centre for Student Development and Counselling.
