What to do if you experience or witness acts of hate or bias

Before you choose a course of action, you can visit the  What to Consider page  to better understand your options.

  1. Get medical help and if you feel comfortable, report the incident to the police.
  2. Retain evidence (photos, videos) and contact information of witnesses
  3. Report to community organizations
  4. Support the victim(s)
  1. If you think your safety is at risk, get help and consider calling the police.
  2. Report cyber incidents to the platforms on which they occur.
  3. Report to community organizations.
  4. Support the victim(s).
