Professors Joseph Recupero and Laurel Walzak from the Sport Media faculty at the RTA School of Media are co-chairing a conference centred on diversity and inclusion at the Rogers Communication Centre on June 22 and 23, 2023.

The conference explores four major themes:
- Identity and belonging
- Education and Learning in Worlds of Differences
- Organizational Diversity
- Community Diversity and Governance

The conference will feature plenary sessions by some of the world's leading thinkers and innovators in the field, including Nicole Neverson, Associate Professor of Sociology, Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada and Erik Denison, Lead Researcher, Sport Inclusion Project, Behavioural Science Laboratory, Monash University, Australia.
