On February 28, 2022, the Government of Canada lowered their COVID-19 Global Travel Advisory, (external link) from a “level 3: avoid all non-essential travel advisory” to a “level 2: practise special precautions advisory”. The Government of Canada is advising travelers to practise enhanced health precautions when traveling internationally. Our International Risk Management requirements have been updated to reflect this change.
Todd Carmichael
Todd joined Toronto Metropolitan University in 2014 as the International Partnership and Project Coordinator at TMU Global (formerly Ryerson International), and was appointed Director in December of 2015. He accepted an appointment as Executive Director, Strategic Planning and Advancement at The Creative School in May of 2019. As of February 2021 he has been appointed Interim Executive Director, TMU Global.
Prior to joining Toronto Metropolitan University, Todd spent 10 years developing and managing international programs with a variety of non-governmental, civil society and United Nations entities (with positions based in Canada, East and Southern Africa as well as South Asia). This experience followed several years of international work as a geophysicist for an airborne survey company, with his role primarily focused on the collection and analysis of time-domain electromagnetic data.
