Designathon: Disrupting the Creative Industry

A virtual hands-on weekend event for 20 Black, Indigenous and People of Colour students.

How can Black, Indigenous and People of Colour creatives design features for their industry that support and reflect their communities? 

Spend a weekend with nineteen other students, exploring, imagining and designing answers to this question. With talks and workshops from BIPOC creatives, participants will be given the tools and inspiration needed to collectively craft ideas that can be shared with their communities.

Date: November 13-14 virtual. These will be 8 hour days, divided between workshops/presentations, small group discussions and independent group work.

Space is limited, all participants will receive a $325 honorarium for their involvement.

Eligibility

Black, Indigenous and People of Colour domestic undergraduate students of X University who have not already participated in an Experience Ventures placement.
