Undergraduate

As an undergraduate student in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering, you’ll learn to apply engineering principles in the design, building and programming of electrical devices in technology, communications and health care. With our award-winning faculty members, state-of-the-art laboratories and close ties to industry through our co-operative internship program, you’ll connect with leaders in your field of study and discover novel technologies and ideas. You’ll cultivate a vast network of industry connections and strong multidisciplinary skills that allow you to apply theoretical fundamentals to real-life applications.

Through one of our three Undergraduate Programs, you’ll earn a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) that will prepare you for a career in today’s most thriving industries, including health care, energy, electronics, telecommunications, and more. During your studies, you’ll have the opportunity to make your mark through design teams and lab work that can set the stage for future studies at Toronto Metropolitan University through our graduate programs (MASc, MEng, PhD), or for starting your own business as an entrepreneur. The possibilities are endless.
