How to sign in to Zoom with Single Sign On (SSO)

For your safety, some meetings require you to authenticate with your my.torontomu credentials. Before joining a meeting, we recommend you sign in to the Zoom desktop or mobile app using Single Sign On (SSO).

Note: If you already have a TMU Zoom account, proceed to #2.

  1. Go to torontomu.zoom.us (external link) . Click on "Sign In" and enter your TMU credentials.

    • Once logged in, a TMU Zoom account will be created for you.
  2. Download and install the Zoom desktop or mobile application.

  3. The following instructions apply to mobile and desktop versions of Zoom, however the interface will slightly differ.

Click on the "Sign In" button.

  4. Click on the "SSO" button.

The SSO button is located after the email and password field.
  5. Enter "torontomu" in the "Your company domain" field and click on "Continue".

Enter TORONTOMU as the company domain, all lowercase.
  6. You'll be redirected to TMU's login page. Enter your TMU credentials and click on "Log In".

  7. You will then be redirected back to the "Sign In with SSO" page.

The browser will prompt you to open Zoom. Click on the "Open zoom.us" button.

The browser will prompt you to open the Zoom.us application on your computer.
  8. You will now be logged into Zoom's desktop or mobile app. The meeting host will provide you a Zoom meeting link/invitation.

Don't forget: If you are using a shared computer, do not forget to sign out!
