Each year, Toronto Metropolitan University and the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (FEAS) offer numerous entrance scholarships to incoming students who are accepted into an engineering program. The university and the Department of Civil Engineering also offer awards for students that continue studies in their respective programs after first year. There are unique eligibility criteria for each of the entrance scholarships and the awards available to current students. More information on this can be found below.

Alex and Emily Marchetti Memorial Award To be eligible for this award, you must be registered as a full-time undergraduate student at Toronto Metropolitan University and have a clear academic standing. You must also be entering third year of the civil engineering program, demonstrate financial need as determined by Toronto Metropolitan University through submission of a student budget form, and have the highest CGPA after successfully completing your second year of the civil engineering program.
American Concrete Institute - Ontario Chapter Scholarship This scholarship is awarded for overall academic proficiency and demonstrated understanding of the properties of concrete through design projects and technical reports within the construction materials and structural design courses in third year.
Association of Ontario Land Surveyors Education Foundation Award You must be entering the third year of the regular civil engineering program to be eligible for this award. Demonstrated overall academic proficiency in your courses is required, including CVL 323, as is an interest in pursuing a career in geomatics engineering.
Association of Ontario Land Surveyors Education Foundation Award To be eligible, you must be entering the fourth year of the regular civil engineering program. You must have demonstrated overall academic achievement in your courses—including CVL 323CVL 352 and CVL 354—and show an interest in pursuing a career in geomatics engineering.
Concrete Forming Association of Ontario Award

Concrete Forming Association Female Award (1)

Presented to a female student entering second, third or fourth year of the Civil Engineering program who has a clear academic standing and has demonstrated interest, experience or background in the construction industry and has a clear academic standing.

Concrete Forming Association Award (x 2)

Presented to a student entering second or third year of the Civil Engineering program who has a clear academic standing and has demonstrated interest, experience or background in the construction industry and has a clear academic standing.

Dan Dorcich Memorial Award (Sponsored by Concrete Forming Association of Ontario) Presented to a student entering second or third year of the Civil Engineering program who has a clear academic standing and has demonstrated interest, experience or background in the construction industry and has a clear academic standing.
EllisDon Corporation Award You are eligible for this award if you have successfully completed the second year of the civil engineering program and are currently enrolled in your third year of study with a full course load. You must have a minimum CGPA of 3.00 at the time of the award selection, must have completed infrastructure and transportation courses, and demonstrate leadership abilities.
Fernando De Luca Memorial Award This award recognizes a graduate of the civil engineering program who has a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and demonstrated high academic achievement in CVL 650 - Satellite Geodesy. You must also show an interest in pursuing a career in geomatics engineering.
Gerald W. Jackson Scholarship To be eligible for this award, you must be registered as a full-time undergraduate student entering second year of the civil engineering program. You must have a clear academic standing, a minimum CGPA of 3.33, and demonstrated design excellence (based on final grade) in the cornerstone first-year design project.
Greater Toronto Sewer and Watermain Contractors Association Awards To be eligible, you must be entering your third year of full-time undergraduate studies in civil engineering. You must have a record of academic excellence (a minimum CGPA of 3.00 at the end of second year) and demonstrate financial need. You must also be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and a resident of Ontario.
Heavy Construction Association of Toronto Awards The award is open to two students who have demonstrated academic achievement in second year and third year of the undergraduate civil engineering program. You must have demonstrated academic excellence in courses related to strength of materials, structural and materials engineering, and an interest in the field of heavy construction. You must also attain a minimum 3.00 CGPA, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, be an Ontario resident, and must demonstrate financial need.
J. Vinklers Scholarship For a third-year undergraduate student entering fourth year who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in the Civil Engineering program and an interest in pursuing a career in Geomatics Engineering.
Jack Roy Longstaffe Memorial Scholarship To be eligible for this award, you must have a high academic standing after successfully completing the second year of the civil engineering program. You must also demonstrate financial need.
James Ross Memorial Scholarship
(Sponsored by the Metropolitan Toronto Road Builders' Association)
This scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement with a strong understanding of the practical applications of the civil engineering program, as well as proven participation in extracurricular activities over the first three years of the civil engineering program.
Jan Zubko Memorial Scholarship To be eligible for this award, you must have demonstrated high academic achievement in your second year of the civil engineering program.
John Duncan Barnes Geodetic Sciences Scholarship To recognize the academic achievement of a full-time, third-year undergraduate student entering fourth year of the civil engineering program who has a clear academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in third year studies; is a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a protected person; and has an interest in pursuing a career in geomatics engineering.
Lawrence Tomkins OLS 867 Award To be eligible for this award, you must be registered as a full-time, undergraduate student in the civil engineering degree program and have clear academic standing, with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 at the time of application. You must have also completed CVL 354 with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
Lawrence Tomkins OLS 867 Scholarship To be eligible, you must be registered as a full-time, undergraduate student in the civil engineering degree program and entering your third year. You must also have the highest GPA in CVL 323.
Ledcor Construction Limited Award This award recognizes the combination of extra-curricular contributions in the field of study related to architecture/building/construction and academic achievements. To be eligible, you must be enrolled full-time in the third or fourth year of civil engineering or architectural science.
Nick Barbieri Memorial Award (Sponsored by Concrete Forming Association of Ontario) Presented to a student entering second or third year of the Civil Engineering program who has a clear academic standing and has demonstrated interest, experience or background in the construction industry and has a clear academic standing.  
Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Award This award is open to second-, third- or fourth-year students who are enrolled in a full-time engineering program who demonstrate high academic achievement (minimum CGPA of 3.00). You must also demonstrate leadership through involvement in professional affairs and/or extracurricular activities related to the engineering profession, including the holding of an executive senior position in the Metropolitan Undergraduate Engineering Society, Engineers Without Borders chapter, Women in Engineering, or by participation in an engineering competition. One recipient from the Department of Civil Engineering will be chosen by the departmental awards committee based on the above criteria.
Paul Krejcir Memorial Award To be eligible, you must be entering second, third or fourth year of the civil engineering program, demonstrate academic achievement in geotechnical engineering and leadership qualities, have a minimum CGPA of 3.0, and been proactive in extra-curricular activities. You must also be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, and an Ontario resident.
Stantec Consulting Ltd. Award You are eligible to apply for this award if you are a full-time student entering fourth year of the civil engineering program. You must demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and an interest in pursuing a career in the area of environmental, structural or transportation engineering. In addition, you must demonstrate financial need.
Toromont Industries Ltd. Award To be eligible for this award, you must be entering fourth year of the civil engineering program, have demonstrated academic excellence with a minimum CGPA of 3.30 and be completing a capstone design project in the area of environmental, structural or transportation engineering.
T. Shanmugarajah Geomatics Award To be eligible for this award, you must be entering fourth year of the regular civil engineering program, have demonstrated academic excellence, with a minimum GGPA of 3.00, and have an interest in pursuing a career in geomatics engineering.
