Career & Co-op Centre continues to offer most services virtually - please connect directly with our team.
In line with Toronto Metropolitan University’s plans for increased access to campus and in-person support and services for students, the Career & Co-op Centre will be offering in-person drop-in advising appointments for students on campus, beginning Tuesday September 7, 2021.
All other services, including workshops, employer events, and scheduled 1:1 appointments will continue to be offered virtually.
Students can visit the Centre located in POD 60 from Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. Students can also continue to book a virtual appointment (bit.ly/RCCCappoint, external link) or sign up for one of our online workshops (bit.ly/RCCCworkshops, external link).
For employers, Toronto Met staff and faculty partners, we continue to be available to work with you to meet both your immediate needs and strategic goals.

For students who work on campus with Career Boost or are on co-op or internships, we have some FAQs to help you:
It’s best to be in direct contact with your Co-op Program Specialist or your internship coordinator at Toronto Met. Co-op students are advised to follow their employer’s policies and take instructions directly from their employer with regards to location of work/remote working. To help you in your job search process, we encourage you to book an appointment online with a Career Education team member. In addition to virtual appointments, beginning September 7, 2021 we are offering in-person drop-in advising appointments on campus from Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
The work location for Career Boost positions for Fall 2021 is up to individual on campus employers, and will depend on whether you can carry out the responsibilities in your job description remotely, or if you will be required to work on campus.
If you have secured a Career Boost position, please take a look at google docthis resource, external link created for student staff to address work location with their supervisor for on campus positions.
All Career Boost programs are proceeding as planned. Students are welcome to apply for available positions.
To help you prepare for virtual interviews, we encourage you to book an appointment online with a Career Education staff member. Appointments are currently being delivered virtually. The Career & Co-op Centre will be offering in-person drop-in appointments in our office beginning Tuesday September 7, 2021.
