Project Management in the Built Environment Student Experience
The Project Management in the Built Environment (PMBE) program offers an amazing student experience built around experiential learning, practical applications for all course material, and small cohorts. With full and part time options available and classes scheduled to meet the needs of working professionals in the AECO sector, the PMBE program is designed to give graduates the skills they need to succeed now and in the future.

The Smart Campus Integration & Testing Hub (SCITHub) will support three lines of research: Smart City & Smart Campus development; optimization of control systems; and creating healthier and more productive indoor environments. Over 30 faculty and 150 students spanning disciplines including all students enrolled in the PMBE program will access this facility remotely and in-person. With the diversity of 100% digital systems, technologies, and novel materials, the SCITHub will be a globally unique and world-leading facility.
Industry Interactions
The Project Management in the Built Environment program was designed with input from industry stakeholders to ensure graduates are prepared to be leaders in AECO project management. The PMBE program courses are taught by faculty with industry leading experience, who bring currently practicing experts into the classroom to provide students with the most up to date knowledge. Students work closely with members of AECO industry leaders in several courses including PM8004 (the capstone course for the MPM curriculum) to solve a real-world problem facing an #AECO firm.
